SQL Developer

The Company and role:

BLUE LOTUS are looking for a SQL Developer who is willing to take on a T-shaped role incorporating some DBA responsibilities within a market leading global provider who offers a fantastic career development.

This company are offering the opportunity to work on a large-scale cloud-hosted application in use by many major global companies. This role reports to the DevOps Team Leader, and will be based in their coventry office. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the cloud-based database services while making continued service improvements as part of a rapidly growing technical organisation.

Experience:

Extensive technical experience in MySQL database administration and management.

Solid understanding of replication and clustering techniques and technologies.

Experience managing databases and focussing on maintaining performance, integrity, replication, upgrades, migration and security.

Extensive query / performance optimisation experience.

Experience in database environment life cycle management and support of production, staging and development environments.
